1. Location    ResortQuest at Papakea Resort Maui is surrounded by 13 acres of manicured gardens and ocean views galore. Low-rise buildings are set to create 2 individual courtyards, each with a pool, putting green and koi pond. Palm trees and tropical plants dot the property, a putting green wraps around 2 kidney-shaped pools. Bamboo-lined walkways between buildings and fish-filled ponds create a serene mood.    Maui's main airport, Kahului (OGG), is 23 miles away. 2. Rooms    ResortQuest at Papakea Resort Maui has 11 low-rise buildings with 364 units. Your condo will have a kitchen, separate living room with a sofabed, and bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Each condo features: Air-conditioning Private lanai Ceiling fans Full kitchen with microwave and coffee maker Washer/dryer Hairdryer Iron and board Daily maid service     3. Restaurants    ResortQuest at Papakea Resort Maui (also known as Aston at Papakea Resort) does not have an on-site restaurant, but quite a few restaurants and cafes are located within 1-2 miles from the condo. Here are our 3 favorite places:      1) Sansei Restaurant – 1.8 miles away, at 115 Bay Dr #115    Looking for great Pacific Rim cuisine? That’s what they have at Sansei. Start with some sushi and warm sake, the chef has many innovative and delicious types to try.    Some of the best entrees are Roast Peking Duck on Potato Risotto with Foie Gras demi glace – very rich, sumptuous and tasty dish, or salmon with creamy wasabi sauce. Entrees cost $18-$25, which is not bad considering the quality of the food.    They tend to be very busy at dinner, so we recommend making a reservation in advance.      2) Maui Tacos – 0.8 miles away, at 5095 Napilihau St #111a15 (in Napili Plaza)    Great food at great prices! Menu includes enchiladas, fish burritos, etc. Each order comes with beans, tortilla chips, and great Spanish-style rice filed with corn, peas, carrots, green beans and lima beans. They also have a Salsa Bar with a wide selection of mild to hot salsas, garnished with fresh jalapenos, onions and cilantro.    Maui Tacos has indoor and outdoor seating, tables or sit-down bars. It is a nice place to hang out and listen to the music.      3) Mama’s Ribs ‘N Rotisserie – 0.8 miles away, at 5095 Napilihau St (in Napili Plaza)    They serve ribs and roasted chicken, BBQ baked beans, cole slaw, and macaroni salad. Good take out, like citrus-teriyaki half-chicken with 2 sides for just $7.50.   4. Things to do    There is a small seawall in front of the ResortQuest at Papakea Resort Maui (see picture), but a nice beach park is a short walk away.
