1. Location

   Hyatt Waikiki is located directly across the street from Waikiki Beach, on the Diamond Head side. You can easily walk to Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium and International Marketplace. Waikiki Trolley has a stop in front of the hotel.

   The lobby is located on the second floor, wrapped around an impressive open-air 10-story atrium filled with palms, tropical orchids, cascading waterfalls and colorful parrots. Shops and live music make this one of the liveliest lobbies anywhere, though you may get lost in it.


2. Rooms

   Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort is the 4th largest hotel in Honolulu, with 1,230 rooms in two 40-story towers. Rooms are decorated in soft cream and ocean blue tones.

Regency Club Rooms
   For a few dollars more, you can get a Regency Club room which is nicer, and gives you privileges like expedited check-in, access to private rooftop sundeck and Jacuzzi, and the Regency Club lounge which has concierge service all day and serves complimentary continental breakfast, afternoon wine, beer and pupus, and evening coffee and desserts.


3. Restaurants

   Hyatt Waikiki has 7 restaurants and 4 bars:

   1) Ciao Mein - unusual blend of Italian and Chinese cuisine. Creative dishes are served "family-style" so you can share. This restaurant received Best Pasta award from 2002 Taste of Honolulu.

   2) The Colony - discover superb fresh seafood and Hawaii's finest cut-to-order steaks grilled to perfection over a kiawe wood fire. Add to that creative tropical salads and signature desserts, and you will have an dining experience you will long remember!

   3) Furusato - this restaurant offers a wider variety of dishes from authentic Japanese to contemporary Hawaiian/Japanese creations. It has a reputation for its healthy and delicious menu. They also feature great sake and delicious appetizers to complement your meal.

   4) Musashi - authentic Japanese Restaurant complete with a sushi bar, teppanyaki grills, and teishoku dinner tables. Time-honored and contemporary Japanese cuisines is served with a dash of drama and excitement!

   5) Seafood Village Chinese Cuisine - serving freshest fish prawns, abalone, live Maine lobster and Dungeness crab. Also savor Hong Kong-style dim sum and yum cha. Enjoy the full-service bar and various-sized VIP rooms.

   6) Terrace Grille - dine in tropical surroundings of the 3rd floor veranda. Delicious breakfast buffet, extended lunch till 6pm, and light supper menu that includes traditional western-style dishes and Oriental items.

   7) Texas Rock 'N Roll Sushi Bar - a contemporary mix of East and West cuisine in a fun and casual atmosphere. A great barbecue and sushi place!

   8) Harry's Bar - located in the lobby, it is a popular spot to sit by the playful waterfalls and enjoy free nightly entertainment, while sipping on your favorite cocktail. Even evening, a featured performer goes through a lively mix of oldies, contemporary hits, jazz and island favorites for you to dance under the stars of Waikiki.

   9) The Elegant Dive - located by the sparkling pool, this is the perfect place to relax with a Mai Tai, smoothie or midday snack, and enjoy the Hawaiian sun and tropical breezes.


4. Things to do

   Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort is located in the middle of all the activity, with many shops, restaurants and nightclubs within walking distance. You can take bus to almost anywhere on the island.

  • Beach Activities
       Ocean activities can be arranged through activities desk - catamaran cruises, canoe paddling, snorkeling, surfing etc. You can rent surfboards, boogie boards or snorkeling equipment right at the Hyatt Waikiki.

  • Na Ho'ola Spa
       Hyatt is Waikiki's only spa resort hotel. Since April 2001, this large luxury spa has been providing all massage services, body treatments and facials you can imagine.

  • Children's Program
       Camp Hyatt is a fun children's program that provides supervised activities for children 3-12, like Hawaiian checkers, hula dancing, lei making, arts and crafts. The cost is about $50 per day.
