1. Location    Casual and simple, Aqua Aloha Surf Hotel (former Aston Aloha Surf) is located on the quiet side of Waikiki, 3 blocks from the beach. You can walk to Kapiolani Park and many of Waikiki's attractions.    Aqua Aloha Surf Hotel has just complete a major renovation and looks very new. Hotel staff is very friendly. The guests are a young, international, budget-oriented crowd. 2. Rooms    Your room will be nice and clean, with all the basic amenities. Rooms have views of Honolulu, Ala Wai Canal and Koolau mountain range.    There are 202 rooms in the 16-story building. You can book a Hotel Room, Junior Suite, or 1-Bedroom Suite. Hotel Rooms are divided into 3 categories: - Standard rooms are located on the lower floors - Superior rooms are in the middle of the building - Deluxe Rooms are on the highest floors    Would you like more space and a better view? Book a Junior Suite or 1-Bedroom Suite - those include wetbar, microwave, refrigerator, utensils and dishes for 3. They are located on the top floor, and offer impressive panoramic views. Each room has: Air-conditioning Private lanai in most rooms Cable TV and in-room movies Refrigerator Kitchenette in Junior Suites and 1-Bedroom Suites Coffee maker Full bath Hair dryer upon request Iron and board Internet access Wake-up call service Daily maid service 3. Restaurants Free continental breakfast is served each morning in the lobby of Aqua Aloha Surf Hotel beginning at 7 am. They have coffee, several flavors of mini muffins, very good mini croissants, breads, orange juice and passion/mango/guava juice. Aqua Aloha Surf Hotel (also known as Aston Aloha Surf) does not have an on-site restaurant, but many restaurants and cafes are nearby. One of our favorite restaurants is Tavola Tavola, located .9 miles away, at 3106 Monsarrat Avenue.    This place is perfect for a delicious, authentic Italian dinner, prepared by an Italian chef.    Menu includes many delicacies, such as Seafood Risotto with Marinara Sauce, Scallop with Herb Butter and Pan Gratin, and Eggplant Cakes with Grilled Vegetables. Full bar has a good selection of wine and beer. 4. Things to do    The pool is kind of small but has a nice cabana area. Plan to pack a big towel and enjoy the action on the beach instead - it is just 3 blocks away from the Aqua Aloha Surf Hotel.
