Pearl Harbor City Tour
After you see a short and informative film about the attack on Pearl Harbor, a navy boat will take you across the harbor to the USS Arizona Memorial. In the back, a marble wall bears the names of the 1,177 sailors who are buried below in a watery grave. You get about 10 minutes at the memorial, it is a quiet time of reverence. On the trip back, you can listen to the recorded interviews with survivors, whose stories are moving enough to bring tears to the eyes some 60 years later.
On the way back, the bus will take you on a fully narrated tour of Honolulu, including famous sites like the Royal Mausoleum, Iolani Palace, Chinatown, and downtown.
