Germaine's Luau

   Germaine's Luau takes place on a beautiful white-sand beach outside of Waikiki. The luau starts with the ceremony of uncovering of the underground oven ("imu") where a succulent kalua pig has been roasted all day. It is then added to the 18-course buffet dinner featuring lomilomi salmon, teriyaki chicken, poi, and haupia (coconut dessert).

   Skillful dancers wearing beautiful bright-colored costumes perform everything from graceful old Hawaiian love songs to the thrilling Samoan Fire-knife dance. They also put a lot of humor in the show by drawing people from the audience to dance.

What it includes: Hotel pick-up, dinner, show and drinks (cocktails like Mai Tais, Blue Hawaii, as well as non-alcoholic beverages).
