Hiking Molokai is a haven for the adventurous. Hike along the coast or into the towering forest of ironwood pines, or head to the Kapuaiwa coconut grove for a sunset stroll among the palms originally planted for King Kamehameha V. Snorkeling Molokai's 28-mile protected barrier reef is an ideal snorkeling spot. It is a pristine habitat for hundreds of varieties of sea creatures including humpback whales in the winter. Swim with tangs, angel fish, unicorn fish and endangered sea turtles that frequent Molokai's waters. You'll never get tired of this undersea playground !

Mountain biking Whether you are an advanced biker or a beginner, there is an exhilarating mountain bike adventure awaiting you on Molokai. There are beginner to intermediate rides daily, which are primarily downhill rides to Kolo or Kaupoa Beach along single track or ranch roads. Intermediate to advanced bikers can try a night ride with equal amounts of climbing along with more challenging descents. Or choose an all-day tour to the Naiwa area featuring a spectacular pasture trail above the high sea cliffs overlooking Kalaupapa Peninsula.

Golf The only course on the island, Kaluakoi Golf Course, combines challenging golf with unparalleled scenic views of West Molokai. Designed by Ted Robinson, this 18-hole course has 5 oceanside fairways and is so secluded that bands of wild deer and wild turkeys often appear from the neighboring forests. Every hole is a different experience, with contoured fairways, gemlike lakes and deviously placed bunkers to challenge your game and still whet your appetite for more.
